Subj : Opinion Question - is there a preference for the various versions?

I use Builder 5 for my windows apps and borland C++ 3.0 for my DOS apps.  I 
have been using 3.0 for years even though I have upgraded almost every 
upgrade Borland put out - I was confortable with 3.0 and 3.1, etc had 
problems.  I want to run a borland C++ from windows now and 3.0 doesn't give 
me some of the capabilities I want.  I have heard the 5 has issues but that 
4.5 is OK.  Any input would be appreciated.
