Hi Stephen:

As I know, there is no version called 5.03 (however I dont remember what
number has the japanese version).
The 5.5 is the command line version included in BCB 5, you can download from
Borland and use it for free, there is an addon called Tools 5.5 that
allow to integrate the command line compiler in BC 5.x IDE, it works great
(www.jogy.net).
Also, some people reported a complete freeze PC when compiling with BCB in
Athlon systems, it used to be a bug in BIOS/firmware (not a BCB problem),
don't remeber the link right now , perhaps that your case.
