Subj : application error To : borland.public.cpp.borlandcpp From : geert.defevere Date : Wed Sep 15 2004 07:17 am We use Windows 2000 SP4 on our workstations and have some trouble in combination with Borland C++ 5.01. Unfortunately we must retain this version for some old applications. When installing the update 5.02, there is no toggle breakpoint debugging anymore, so upgrading is not a usefull solution however the application errors are solved. I'm not a programmer but a support engineer who must find a solution for a programmer with this application error after his Windows NT 4.0 workstation has been replaced with a Windows 2000 SP4. These errors occur after the application has been runned for the first time! As long as you don't run it, you don't have any problem!!!! Is there anyone out there who has a solution for this errors. I found users on the newsgroups and internet with the same problem but no solutions specified? The exact error is: Borland C++ - bwc.exe - Application Error The exception unknown software exception (0xc00000008 occured in the application at location 0x77fb14f4. Ok to terminate or Cancel to debug. Regards, Geerty .
