Thanks Ed.  I kept searching and searching then looked at the dialog box for
starting a new project, and LO AND BEHOLD....  a Multithread checkbox....I
made a new project and recompiled and linked just fine!!!

Is there a way to change the project to Multithread while using the GUI
after it has been set up?
