Subj : virtual memory problem

Hi,
I'm using malloc and free to create arays. When trying to delete them, the
physical memory is well freed but not the virtual memory. After the virtual
memory (initially to 2 Go) goes around 300 Mo, my program crushes.
What should I do to get back the virtual memory too.
