Subj : 32 bit Unicode Resource Workshop ? To : borland.public.cpp.borlandcpp From : MaWin Date : Mon Aug 02 2004 06:53 am Hi AFAI understand, the BC C++ 5.5 does contain a Resource Compiler BRCC but no Visual IDE to create the Resources (Dialogs etc.) Once upon a time there was the Borland/Whitewater Resource Workshop, that could even handle 32 bit Resources in handy RES files to be included in the project. We still use it, and we like it, and it's much better the Microsoft Visual Studio and the clutter of RC files. But now we need to support UNICODE that the old Resource Workshop can not handle. Is there a newer version than 4.5 from 11-17-94 ? Maybe an upgrade ? Is it part of a Borland product ? Maybe the Resource Workshop alone even free for download ? .
