Subj : Running 4.52 on Windows XP?

Currently we have some application that must be compiled with Borland C++ Compiler 4.52 because of dependencies on the OWL graphical library.  However, I've heard that it will not work on Windows XP.  Has anyone dealt with this issue and how did you address it.  I've downloaded Borland C++ builder 6.0 but from what I've recently learned that is not going to work.

Any help/direction would be greatly appreciated.
