Subj : Wxxxx of BCC32, i.e. "Warning W8002 xyz.cpp 274: Restarting compile using assembly in function ..." To : borland.public.cpp.borlandcpp From : NetNerd Date : Thu Jul 08 2004 10:19 pm Hello all, francly I'm just checking my code written with MS-VS6.0 for better C++-compliance, but this might change... Well, MS-VS6.0 does not complain about any thing (warning level 4), but bcc32 (v5.5.1) gives the warning Warning W8002 xyz.cpp 274: Restarting compile using assembly in function... ....and tries to compile via TASM32... (which is not installed) My questions: - Where can I find more explanations about Wxxxx, Eyyyy of bcc32? - What does W8002 mean? I'm working on somthing like an object-factory, function-pointers, object-persistance, maybe the 'who came first' question for declarations, definitions, ... - Anybody with a simple (and efficient) solution for the factory? Thanks & Regards Harry .
