Subj : Re: C Programming HELP... To : borland.public.cpp.borlandcpp From : Genie Date : Mon Jun 21 2004 03:01 pm I suppose you can if you will be learning basic c or c++, but remember its an outdated software and if later you want to get into new stuff in my opinion it would be less headache to get cppbuilder as you will spend less time hunting down header and library files ect. But personally I like the Borland C++ 5.0 series very much. Best thing ever. Back in the day, i purchased BCB ver 1 and its still in the box that it came in never touched it, I was always too comfortable with the BC++ series and never bothered to earn the BCB intricacies. But its drag and drop programming like VB so I guess you can't beat that. Would it be worth it to purchase Borland C++Builder 6 Personal? Or should I continue programming with 5.0? > >Thanks for your ongoing support guys, >Jeremy Pham .
