Don't be sorry.  It's not something to be sorry about.

The problem is that in these groups you get help from your peers.
Your question won't be seen by as many who are familiar with the
product about which you are asking when you post in a group where the
question is off topic.  For quick, good answers you want to put it in
a place where many who are familiar with the product will see it.
