" Those buffer overwrites are very critical in your program. 1. Make sure your Buffers are large enough... They should be at *least* as long as the data value PLUS the trailing NULL character. Name="Hello World" Name is actually 12 characters long....not 11. It has a trailing NULL to signify the end of the Variable. Forgetting this, and doing some strcpy and cats can kill ya. Set Memcheck on, and use it. Chances are, you have overnights, because your strcats are overwriting your memory, or your buffers are small, and you are writing data that is longer than your allocated buffer. Dwayne .
