Ok; because I'm only "online" under linux, I can't start windows help while
reading writing news -- and this way it makes more fun. Meanwhile I looked
it up and there exist WinApI conversion  functions for both direction
Multibyte to Widechar and vice versa. I had to deal with them in DXMedia
COM servers.
