I have an application which, if you hold the mouse down on the top of the
window, everything else stops (while the mouse is down).  Timed events do
not happen.  As another program monitors my program, if you do this then the
other program presumes mine has died and forces a system restart.

Is this perculiar to builder, has anyone else seen this and can suggest a
cure?
