My experience/opinion: if you want to keep track with new versions of Windows or parts of it (SDKs ...) and as a result of your style of developing for you BC5 IDE is the best with a certain distance to all other IDEs (and/or you are forced to work with it), you have to do one thing. In order to have access to system DLLs you have to update parts of your header files. It's an awfull work you only have to do once and then it can be automated. Afterwards you have had a look into several header files and your necessary lexical knowledge has grown and you have a clue of what is possible. Excuse me, but you did want to know it. Gerhard .
