If you select Project|Generate Makefile the IDE will create a make file for
you.

There is some documentation in the help system that is built into the IDE.

The second is a PDF file and is scanned in so that it will print correctly.
To read it on your screen tell Adobe Acrobat to rotate it 90 degrees.
