Subj : Lockup/crash with BCC 3.0 To : borland.public.cpp.borlandcpp From : nobody@xmission.com (Scott) Date : Thu Dec 18 2003 04:47 am Is BCC 3.0 known to have problems on fast CPUs and/or under Win9x? I have a few 16-bit DOS utilities built with Borland C++ 3.0 that I'm having trouble maintaining. For years I've had problems rebuilding them with BCC3 on Pentium-class and better CPUs under Win9x. BCC will finish the compile and link, but then it locks up and I have to kill the DOS window (inconvenient at best). More recently I've had problems with the locked-up window crashing my entire computer when I try to close it (quite a bit worse than inconvenient). I apologize if this is a FAQ. Any clues will be well appreciated. Thanks, -Scott -- Send replies to sierra kilo bravo at the obvious domain. .
