Subj : A question about 'Makefile'(s)!! To : borland.public.cpp.borlandcpp From : Maya Date : Sat Dec 06 2003 02:16 pm A question about 'Makefile'(s)!! OK, I am so confused about this that I will take it from the top. I am not an expert when it comes to writing make files, and most of the time I don't have to worry about them. However, recently I have had the need to add a GUI interface to a program. I am not sure if I'll go with "wxWindows", "FOX" or "FLTK". While I am reading about the pro and cons that each of the GUI packages have I am wondering what flags I should use for each of these libraries, the location of the GUI library in the File System. By flags I mean flags like '-lsocket', '-lmpr', etc. Now, if I decide to go with, for instance, FOX, what would be the flag I have to add to the Make file? most importantly, how does one know what is the flag that different libraries use.
