There's a bug in the heap manager documented at:

Does anyone have a rebuilt and fixed copy of  CW3230.DLL and CW3230MT.DLL?

I'm using BC 5.02 off the C++ Builder 4 Companion Tools which does not have
the BC5\SOURCE\RTL directories needed to rebuild the above DLL files.
