Subj : C++ 5.02 and SQL API library To : borland.public.cpp.borlandcpp From : "paul" Date : Thu Aug 28 2003 11:23 pm Greetings, I've got an application at work and I'm trying to add database access to it. I found an evaluation set of APIs that work just fine, but the company that sells them won't take a Purchase Order. Consequently we won't be ordering it (dang it all). My remaining two options are to (a) rewrite the code in Java (which I'm not super anxious to do), or (b) find another set of API code that's either freeware or from a company that will accept a purchase order. The code is written in Borland C++ 5.02 and it's running as an NT Service on a Win2000 box. The code works fine, it just needs the additional database functionality. I've been trawling the web for several days now trying to find something to fit the bill, but I've had no luck so far. Any input from the experienced pros would be greatly appreciated. TIA, Paul .
