Subj : getting at FileName from *File To : borland.public.cpp.borlandcpp From : "Billly Pig" Date : Wed Jul 23 2003 05:24 pm I'm new to C, so please bear with me. Within a function that receives a *File parameter, is it possible to get the name of the associated file on Windows ? I've had a look at the definition of a file in stdio, and the answer would appear to be no, but maybe I've missed something. I don't have access to the calling routine, so I can't just do the obvious and pass the filenname as a parameter too. Thanks, Pete K .
