Subj : HELP! Please!!!! DOS GRAPHICS SVGA16.BGI To : borland.public.cpp.borlandcpp From : "David Frost" Date : Thu Jul 17 2003 03:19 pm Hi, I have for many years written code with BorlandC 3.1 sing the BGI Graphics, particularly EGAVGA.BGI, driving resolutions up to 800* 600. I have recently moved to a 1024 * 768 version for a project and have thus moved up to SVGA16.BGI for 16 colours. This works fine on my desktop, but will not run on my new laptop (which is a dual boot Win 98/Win XP) machine. I get an error 246 (-10) stating that this graphics mode is not supported. This is a MAJOR problem to me. My PC is: IBM Thinkpad T30. The graphics card is an ATI Radion 7500 Mobility with its own, (not shared) memory. I get the error 246. GRAPHICS MODE NOT SUPPORTED. Has anyone ANY idea as to how I might get around this, is it the question of getting a different driver for the card?? (Desperate) Dave Frost .
