Subj : BC 5.02 TLINK... To : borland.public.cpp.borlandcpp From : wildcat <> Date : Thu Jul 10 2003 01:19 am Hi, I'm running BC++ 5.02 on Win XP and I've noticed something that absolutely puzzles me. I'm trying to compile someone else's source (SVGACC26.ZIP) into a DOS/Standard executable. Now, I know this package was designed for the Microsoft C compiler, but I just wanted to see if it would build. It compiled fine but failed to link. Well, that's about what I expected, but when I looked in my build directory it created an executable! I did not expect this behavior because I assumed it was statically linking (and, of course, it failed). I have been writing C/C++ code for Windows for over ten years, but I'm new to pure DOS development. So, I may just be off base with my assumptions. TIA! PS: The source in question can be downloaded from... http://www.zephyrsoftware.com/download/svgacc26.zip .
