Just turn your old setup into your new setup! I know > we ain't 15 anymore but it is worth taking the time when time is available! > :-) I fully intend to write myself a nice script. but it will go far behond anything my old setup could do. back then i only had highschool level programming skills. i have progressed considerably since the 80's! I think i will setup the old bbs with one guest account, and a read only messagebase as a kind of museum on a door. So those who missed out on the bbs hayday can take a look at what it was all about. > For the rest -- read your email on my BBS :-) I did! and like a true sysop, you'll do anything to get a caller. hehehehehe Was "telnet verifyer" one of your programs? i cant remember which bbs i got it from, and i want to grab the code so i can add it into my main script. So users can change their email address, and are then forced to validate it. I want to seperate out the forced validation into a seperate file so it can be added as a "call" on a flag. Then i can place it on the main menu for new callers, and the change settings menu for people who jsut changed their email address. basicly fully intergrate it into a shell, rather than have it like a door type thing. -- EnjoyDialup - You know you want to... mail=valid required when replying .
