Are there still any decent local, social bbs's out there like the good old
days?  I used to love my local chat boards in San Diego area with weekly
meets and other events.  I'm hoping for something small, local, and
friendly like those, as opposed to the mega-size "singles" web sites like
Match.com - and also not 100% dating slant.
I'm hoping for free, or at least reasonable priced.  $30/mo. (i.e.
match.com) is NOT what I mean by reasonable :)
