Is it easy to host one's own site ?

A database driven website......Mysql, Linux and PHP.

I am not technical.

Is there an easy to install/use software package etc that turns a
normal Pc into a hosting machine ?

What are the min requirements ?

Any pointers / or suggestions ?

where to start ?

how much would it cost ?

How technical does one have to be to do this ?
