Whatever the case may be it is towards the end of the year and it is time
for us to preform our yearly housecleaning of the user list.(Which hasn't
been done in 2+ years but who's keeping track!?  :)  .

We would like to make you aware that we are still online at velvet.ath.cx
running at 99999999999 bps!! We would like to invite you to call the bbs 
and take part in the daily conversations that take place as we have an
active "LOCAL" message base that gets regular postings.

As an incentive to take part in the Shack BBS and to help build community
we are happy to announce the Posting Incentive Program! This is the deal.
The BBS runs on an OpenBSD server and we are offering FREE unrestricted 
shell accounts  to those users who's posting totals is in excess of 100
messages.
If you have posted over 100 messages to the shack in the past you are
eligible for a FREE SHELL!

All you have to do to get the shell account is to call the BBS regularly
 and take part in the daily conversation. After you reach your 100th
message you may request for an account to be created for you. To keep the 
account active all you have to do is call the BBS at least once a month
and post a minimum of 5 messages. That's it!
