Whatever floats yer boat. I'll check it out :) Being able to read/post to the network from the web is pretty snazzy, I have to say! >On another note, i've got an idea for a new doorgame, but am not a >programmer. I can share my idea with you, and if you wish to take it up, you >can. Probably can't, but thank you for the offer... I already have more door ideas than I have time right now :( On my to-do list right now I have DoorMUD v0.99 (fixes some door32 support and adds some new features & editor options), Tournament Trivia v1.1 (will add some more new features + better question rotation), and possibly a new Usurper-style RPG with some major new gameplay twists. I also want to eventually recode DoorMUD from scratch to put in a better game engine + add stand-alone telnet/rlogin servers, among other major changes. So my programming plate is somewhat full at the moment. > All I ask is that if you do decide to code it, that it be freeware. >Thats my only condition. Alas, in my current financial situation, making freeware doors isn't really an option for me... writing a new door is usually a major time investment (especially accounting for debugging, beta testing, and writing documentation), although it depends on what kind of door I suppose. In any case, there are several door authors who make freeware doors & are probably hungry for new ideas :) If you don't receive any replies on here, try posting on alt.bbs or alt.bbs.doors , I think they are more widely propogated than alt.bbs.allsysop. Best regards, Evan .
