Yeah, but alot of the IGM's, if not all, are still 16 bit and would not work under the Win32 spectrum. Alot of some really good IGM's will more than likely never get converted, unless someone cares to put the time and effort into making a clone of them. So I really have no tolerance for peo R> who steal from me by using cracks because there really is no excuse for it R> R> I think most of the other *active* BBS-related authors feel the same way. I can understand why people use cracks for software, especially doors. $15 for a door, only to have to pay AGAIN for the next version is insane for something like a doorgame. I understand that the authors put alot of time into it, but if the prices were lowered, more people would buy. How about some other packages too? For example: $5 for the door and $3 for every aditional upgrade *or* $30 for the door and unlimited upgrades I think most people would splurge for the $30, if done like that. I also think that for doors, crippling them if they are unregistered is stupid. I think there should just be a screen that comes up every so often in the game that says: "Did you know this door is unregistered? Please have your Sysop register the door, and this message will go away!" Maybe users will get irritated enough by this to give some money to the Sysop to make that go away, if they like the game enough. Also another idea, is how about a multipul Sysop registration so that Sysops can work together to register the door for all of them? For example: $15 for a 1 user license $25 for a 2 user license $35 for a 3 user license $45 for a 4 user license $55 for a 5 user license $100 for a 10 user license $150 for a 20 user license $200 for a 30 user license and you get the idea... Sysops may actually work together to come up with the larger sum of money. So lets say someone came up with the money for the $30 user license, you would just give them 30 unique unlock codes, and take down the info of all 30 Sysops. What software do you make, anyways?
