On October 4, 2004, SpaceShipOne rocketed into history, becoming the first 
private manned spacecraft to exceed an altitude of 328,000 feet twice within 
the span of a 14 day period, thus claiming the ten million dollar Ansari 
X-Prize.

The ANSARI X PRIZE is a $10,000,000 prize to jumpstart the space tourism 
industry through competition among the most talented entrepreneurs and rocket 
experts in the world.

Over the years, NASA has always said that you needed to go up in one of those 
death trap shuttles to be able to acheive orbit, and then re-enter the 
atmosphere dropping like a brick off a high rise -- risking burning up, and 
also risking loosing your lunch.

I always thought NASA was wrong, and that you could just fly up into space 
just as a Condord Aircraft can reach a very high altitude. Once at that 
altitude, you do a rocket burn of a small booster that gets you into orbit.

SpaceShipOne acheived orbit in exactly this way!

A jet craft called "The White Knight" would carry SpaceShipOne to 
Condord-type altitudes.  Once there, it would release SpaceShipOne which 
would then do a 55 second burn to get into orbit.

Instead of dropping to Earth like a brick, it makes a descent gluide and 
comes in similar to how a hand gluider would. Then it lands on a runway just 
like a regular air craft.

Hopefully these people with more to follow, will help us uncover the truth 
and what the Government has been hiding for years.
