Fidonet requires REAL names, for their echos, as do several other
networks I carry. Therefore a real name and a real location is
needed (I don't care about physical/mailing addresses. I ask for
it, but don't require it. I have a CBV up, for validations, and
if I am on-line when a new user is there, but hasn't run it, I do
an auto upgrade for 'em...sure suprises them.. :*)

That is the problem strictly between YOU and the other
Co-Sysops. If you trusted them, then you didn't know them well
enough.

Exists already, with full access, but limited time (30 min/day vs
90+ for full validated users) as does a "Student" login, with
access strictly for the youth echoes and file areas.

All access to MY system is granted by ME, and no one else. I pay
the bills, for the phone, hardware, software and all add-ons. If
I choose to ask for "Real Names, and locations", that is MY
business, and if YOU don't like it, don't call. I am the one
being held responsible for all content, and the user's compliance
with any and all rules that are posted, on my board, or in the
echos.
