The new users I talk to are not upset about all the info asked because they
are worried about privacy, they are upset with the time it takes to answer
all the questions.  The people that have no idea what a BBS is want to try
it right away without having to go through a new user signup.  I created a
GUEST account on Omega to help new people get a feel of the BBS and that
helped alot.  I still think I will shorten the new user signup though.
