My idea for a gated base should have been met with a "no thanks, not > interested" ... instead it was immideately met with the general responce of: > "Fuck you, your mother, your father, your family, and your idea!" Not true. I said, specifically, "No thank you". It was you who would not to "no thank you" for an answer. > DoveNet is frowned upon in alot of other networks because of the flamable > atmosphere in that network. Go into networks such as DoreNet and mention > DoveNet and see what kind of responces you get about it :-) Whatever you say, dude. > It is also a general "bitch" that people have, that Synchronet has DoveNet > preinstalled. I mean, when you install the damn software, it should *ask* > you if you want DoveNet, and explain what it is. Not have it auto-rammed > down peoples throats. To quote Evan "You obviously don't know what you're talking about". The DOVE-Net message areas may be pre-configured in Synchronet, but the message bases are EMPTY and they are only connected to the network if the Sysop takes specific steps to do so. It isn't auto-rammed down anyone's throat. I don't know where you got this idea from, but it is patently false. digital man Snapple "Real Fact" #160: One alternate title that had been considered for NBC's hit "Friends" was "Insomnia Cafe." .
