How so? I don't think theres anything wrong with being proud of an accomplishment, and I also don't think theres anything wrong with asking if others would like to share in it. A "no" answer would have been fine if there was a lack of intrest. You can come on Xpresit and talk about DoorMud all you want and no one's gonna bitch about it. Unless of course its in the music echo or something :-) R> >DoveNet bashing came when *I* started getting flamed for just about any R> >opinion I had, and I did not flame before that started happening :-) R> R> OK, true, I'll give you that :) Fair enough. Yep. My idea for a gated base should have been met with a "no thanks, not interested" ... instead it was immideately met with the general responce of: "Fuck you, your mother, your father, your family, and your idea!" Altho I must admit, there were alot of people who were sick of this bullshit in DoveNet, and because of that flame war, I got *alot* of apps to Xpresit Net :-) DoveNet is frowned upon in alot of other networks because of the flamable atmosphere in that network. Go into networks such as DoreNet and mention DoveNet and see what kind of responces you get about it :-) It is also a general "bitch" that people have, that Synchronet has DoveNet preinstalled. I mean, when you install the damn software, it should *ask* you if you want DoveNet, and explain what it is. Not have it auto-rammed down peoples throats. Hence, my impatient/rude r R> this week about it... we've already talked about this, I can't think of a R> single door author that charges for upgrades (and you weren't able to name R> who does either), so please stop making yearly posts claiming otherwise :P I am pretty sure BRE and LORD at least *used* to charge for updates. If they don't anymore, then I am definately glad to hear it. I remeber people bitching about it in 1995 or so. R> >Being misinformed on one portion of a topic does not make me a complete R> >idiot. R> R> No, it doesn't, and I never said you were an idiot at all. Nor would I sa R> that, because it isn't true! :) Well thank you :-) Time Warrior, Sysop: Malkavia BBS : ICQ: 25055930 (Chicago, IL) Email: twarrior@malkaviabbs.com | Xpresit Net: http://www.xpresit.net Email #2: xpresitnet@juno.com .
