It's not completely free. The first go around for Solairs 7 was about $19 for 
"shipping". Solaris 8 is going for $35 and there is another Solaris 8 pacakge 
you can get with more software included for about $75. Still a heck of a good 
price. I started at www.sun.com/dev when I ordered the Solaris 8 Sparc version 
package.
