See, Angus... The Honourable thing to do, would be to offer your own neck to save us all. I've just started to toy around with Linux, and all this talk has me considering BSD. I'll try to read through the rest of this backlog, but I am curious about a few things mentioned so far. A) Current stable release numbers. B) Differences between releases. (Paraphrasing Roy: No OS wars requested, but a substantive difference, if any.) C) Resolution to which flavour is the Canadian based release. Flying blind, I have to assume Free = Less costly. Net = A more network oriented package of ancillary programs. Open = a more open philosophy to something. You can see, I'm assuming a lot! ....
