Subj : Linux vs BSD To : All From : Francois Thunus Date : Tue Oct 21 2003 08:44 am Hello All. A bit quiet here, time for a holy war :-) I just read an article that compares various Linux kernel (2.4, 2.6) as well as various *BSD for scalability. The winner is definitely the Linux 2.6 kernel, but FreeBSD is close behind. The article is quite big, with lots of graphics, so I won't even attempt to sum it up here, but it is definitely worth reading to pick you flavour according to what you expect to do with the machine.
