        It's a generic IDE CD drive. 24x speed according to the front. 
It is recognized by OBSD as  WPI CDS-24X if that's of any consequence.  
And I've tried Slackware 7.1, and Debian 2.(2??) since I don't have 
current releases of SuSE or RedHat (oddly enough, however, the older 
releases of all four have no problem with the drive)
