Ditto with debian, but they had to up the minimum RAM recommendation to
12 megs.

Has anyone tried Debian GNU/HURD ?  Somewhere I read that it was
supposed to make for a better workstation environment than Linux or
FreeBSD does. I'm wondering in what way.
