You must have caught me on the keyboard - I do all my fidonetting at
around 1600hrs GMT most days.  New Zealand's feed up and over is pretty
efficient into the bargain....

The reason I asked was that we posted a question about installing
Mandrake so that it finds the winmodem and the soundcard on a new HP
Pavilion,  and it seems to fall into the bit bucket.

This normally happens when the echo is not properly set up here on the
local BBS,  so hence the call for `signals'...
