I don't understand what you mean by 'infrastructure' in this context.  Perhaps 
you could clarify?

It's a board form factor less than 10cm square, with stacking connectors.  
There's PC/104, which has an ISA bus and PC/104+, which has PCI.  It's used in 
some embedded applications.  There's a little information about it at the 
PC/104 consortium Web site (www.pc104.org).
