Subj : FreeBSD 4.3-RC buffer issue To : Brad Laue From : Tobias Ernst Date : Sat Apr 14 2001 03:37 pm Hallo Brad! BL> How many BSD people do we have lurking on FidoNet? I'd be BL> interested in knowing that :) Well, given that I myself developed the Unix ported of this thing here BL> -+- Msged/BSD TE 06 (pre) on FreeBSD even before I got to Linux, I am obviously using FreeBSD :-). The BSD box is my primary Unix machine at home, development machine, Internet gateway and firewall and all the stuff. I'm also running an IP node at my University on a Alpha CPU with NetBSD (FreeBSD does not support the bus architecture of that machine, neither does Linux). All in all I think and breath in BSD, not SysV. :-) The FreeBSD box is a 4.3-BETA cvsupped a month ago or so, if you tell me where in the ports tree I can find nmap I can give the command from above a try. But I am not a FreeBSD developer, so whatever I find out it won't help. You'd best use send-pr to submit a high priority bug report. Viele Gre, Tobias --- Msged/2 TE 06 (pre) * Origin: Get UNISCH1A.ZIP via f'req or at ftp.bmtmicro.net! (2:2476/418) .
