I'll be sending a private e-mail later tonight to Pete, with a cc: to Scott, 
Wes and you (via source forge e-mail address). I think I'm down to just getting 
Pete's final blessing to check in the SqaFix code into the Maximus sourceforge 
project.  

I think from what I've now seen that all the files we need to compile and 
execute the code can now be placed under a GPL license.  I've been working on 
the configuration issues.  I've modified my copy of Max's main make file to 
include building sqafix.  And I'm close to having the needed SqaFix 
configuration files included in the install process.    I'll be sending you an 
updated .zip file after I send out the e-mail.  I'll be testing squish's file 
forwarding with this, so please let me know that you get the file ok.

With SqaFix running under Linux, we're one step closer to what I want to see 
running before I can switch my hub from OS/2 to running under Linux.

It would also be nice to see if some folks would pop up and volunteer to help 
get the ported code compiling again under OS/2, Win32 and possibly even DOS 
based systems.  Because SqaFix was calling some propriatry code (for DOS based 
environments), the GPL'ed source won't properly compile under OS/2, Win32 or 
DOS until we get some additional modifications made, which needs volunteers to 
help with those compliations.  I'm planning to leave out of the checked in code 
any of the make stuff related to the old setup since (a) we cann't test it (b) 
it will be broken by what we've had to do to put the code under the GPL, and 
(c) I don't kmown exactly what files are important for the other compiler 
environments.
