Subj : Forward File routing To : Joe Davis From : Bob Jones Date : Sat Aug 09 2003 01:47 pm BJ> I've recently been sending files as attachments to netmail in BJ> Maximus, with Squish handling the mail packing. I'm sticking in the BJ> full path in the netmail that I write. Once squish is done, the BJ> netmail viewable on the BBS shows that the path has been stripped, BJ> and squish has properly set the path for sending out the file. JD> You checked the .flo file, then. Yes. Actually a .clo file, but yes.... JD> Whomever you are sending them too... he wouldn't be JD> the middle man for you, such that you are routing JD> netmails w/file attached through him, would he? JD> :) Unfortunately, this is not testing routing files thru a third party. But it does tell me that squish is changing the path is the message. I need to contact the other party to make sure the path is edited before squish is packing the message for sending, but I believe it is, since the message left on my system is edited on the subject line.... So, this isn't a complete test of file forwarding..... But that may come shortly..... [Ok, Bo.... When you received the netmail with the file attached, what was the subject line? Just the file name? Or was a full path specified?] Take care..... Bob Jones, 1:343/41 --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: Top Hat 2 BBS (1:343/41) .
