In putting some debug code into my beta version of Squish / Linux, I'm finding 
that it is the calculataion of the MsgID hash that is broken.  It looks like 
the CRC and date calculations / hashes are ok.  And the Squish code uses an OR 
instead of the MsgID hash to determine if it is a dupe.  :(

Time to compile a test of squish with the MsgID dupe checking disabled, and 
test some more.
