Ah.... (light goes on)... I'm using SQ386P.... It has higher limits than SQUISHP.... So, you may be right for SQUISHP. I know I switched over to SQ386P when I hit some limit there..... And I have hit a problem after switching to SQ386P where SQFIX (or one of the other utilities in the Squish package) couldn't handle a particular message area's size.... I don't run GoldEd/DOS, so I don't know where that limit is. I haven't had problems since I archived my old message areas to CD-ROM and re-started current areas.... Take care.....
