And you may be right about Maximus specifically.  I don't believe I've ever 
seen the BBS itself break, since other things like SQFIX and GoldEd/DOS broke 
for me sooner...in spite of the fact that all tossing was done with SQUISHP, 
which was the only guy interested in the dupechecking data file.
