Hmmmm..... 5400 sounds closer to the maximum number of messages that the dupe checker retains info on. I thought I ran up to about 10K for my max in some areas prior to switching to OS/2/. Maybe not.... It also depends on some otheer settings that impact how memory is used that then impacts the limits of things like this.... I was optimized for greater packet size and message size than for speed... As I recall, you hit most of the limits in the DOS version of Squish, but some were also in the DOS version of Max. (For instance Max only allows up to 100 lines in messages generated by the interal editor in DOS, and allows up to 250 lines in the OS/2 version.) Thanks for the comment.... Take care.....
