It still works flawless on my system (W4-FP#15/WSeB, CL, Squish, Max 3.01).

Did you encounter any 'other' sign why it could be crashed?

When it (or Squish) crashes most often you'll find even a .pkt or a .bad in 
inbound or current working directory. When you open this with inspectp you can 
identify most of the errors (if trouble is based on bad packets).
