Subj : Forwarding files with Squish To : Alan Ianson From : Joe Davis Date : Sat Oct 20 2001 04:21 am Hi Alan, JD>> After re-reading, you did say to check route.cfg. My mistake.... as JD>> I was concentrating on Squish.cfg, I suppose I just blew right by JD>> that very important detail. AI> No problem, it looks so much the same it's an easy mistake. Yeah... the both have a ".cfg" in 'em. hehehehehehee JD>> Thank you for your patience. AI> No patience needed Joe, You sure about that? :) I'm back .... AI> and I would never hit you over the head! I AI> hope that did the trick.. It did something, but I'm not there yet. Ok... I edited route.cfg and added route hold FILE 1:13/0 I used hold flavor on purpose .... I do everything with Irex anyway - Bink never dials out. In other words, the hold flavor isn't the present problem. Also had Forwardto and ForwardFrom lines in Squish.cfg. Having saved myself a copy of the original netmail pkt, and attached file ( I was figgering on working on this ) , ran squish in again, followed by squish out followed by squish squash. Something sure happened differently, as it realized that there was a file attached this time! And even better: it tried to look in my inbound directory! However, Squish logged: # 20 Oct 11:19:37 SQSH Packing from E:\Max\Msg\Fn_Net (501 msgs) ! 20 Oct 11:19:38 SQSH File attach `D:\BT\In\I' does not exist! : 20 Oct 11:19:38 SQSH Packed=1 The sender's original netmail, on the subject line, was: Subj : I:\a_dir_here\filename.ext Thus it appears that Squish took what it found on the subject line, up to the colon, as the filename to look for in my inbound. I hope I've explained what I'm observing well enough not to confuse the issue. You've got me moving in the right direction. :) Can you gimme another shove? please.
