if you can locate them, i'd be interested in acquiring them if i may...

on the sux part, yes... i agree... even the helpers and such that used to be 
available aren't anymore... i used to have something that worked with telix and 
was recently looking for something that works with qmodem pro... i found a few 
stand alone helpers that acted as their own terminal... one hasn't been 
supported since '98 or '99 and is buggy as heck and another one wants to 
contact the author's site every time you fire it up and use it... tells them 
the user and serial number in use which is, i guess, ok... but it also tells 
them what game and where amongst other things... that's quite alright... its 
bad enough that they are told when i run it but to also have to know where i go 
with it? that install never got past the reading of the EULA where these 
details were revealed...

i'm still looking for something simple, easy to use and comprehensive... i 
suppose i could write up something myself but like many of my other projects, 
it won't get anywhere fast due to my recent change in profession ;-(
